The honest answer: the best test is the one your target university accepts. That said, for many Myanmar students the DET wins on practicality — one-third the price of IELTS, one hour from home, results in 48 hours. Yes. The DET is fully online — you need a computer with webcam and microphone, a quiet private room, a government ID, stable internet, and a smartphone as the mandatory second camera (since September 2025). No test center visit needed.
