The Summer Festival

It is a lovely Sunday afternoon. The sun is shining brightly in the sky. The town park is very busy today because everyone is celebrating the Summer Festival.

Many people are working hard to make the park beautiful. Mr. Jones is decorating the main gate with colorful balloons. His children, Tom and Lisa, are helping him. They are blowing up the balloons.

In the center of the park, a band is standing on a large stage. They are playing happy music. Some people are dancing near the stage, and others are clapping their hands.

Not everyone is working. Mrs. Green is sitting on a bench under a big tree. She is eating an ice cream and watching the people. Her dog, Max, is running on the grass. He is chasing a small butterfly.
