IELTS Essay ရေးတဲ့အခါမှာ Thesis Statement (သို့) Outlining Sentence က အရေးကြီးပါတယ်။ အထူးသဖြင့် IELTS Academic Writing Task 2 မှာ သင့်ရဲ့အကြံအစည်တွေကို ရှင်းရှင်းလင်းလင်း ဖော်ပြနိုင်ဖို့ ဒီအပိုင်းတွေကို ကောင်းကောင်းမွန်မွန် ရေးတတ်ဖို့လိုပါတယ်။ ဒီဆောင်းပါးလေးမှာ Thesis Statement ဆိုတာဘာလဲ၊ Outlining Sentence ကိုဘယ်လိုရေးမလဲဆိုတာကို ရှင်းပြပေးသွားမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Thesis Statement ဆိုတာဘာလဲ?

Thesis Statement ဆိုတာက သင့်ရဲ့ IELTS Essay တစ်ပုဒ်ရဲ့ အဓိကအချက်ကို အတိုချုပ်ဖော်ပြတဲ့ ဝါကျတစ်ကြောင်းဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒီဝါကျမှာ သင့်ရဲ့အမြင်နဲ့ ဘာကိုဆွေးနွေးမယ်ဆိုတာ ပါဝင်ပါတယ်။ Thesis Statement ကို Introduction Paragraph ရဲ့ နောက်ဆုံးဝါကျအဖြစ် ရေးလေ့ရှိပါတယ်။

ဥပမာ:
“While some argue that technology isolates people, I believe it strengthens communication and relationships.”

ဒီဝါကျမှာ ဆွေးနွေးမယ့်အကြောင်းအရာနဲ့ သင့်ရဲ့အမြင်ကို တိုတိုနဲ့ပြည့်ပြည့်စုံစုံ ဖော်ပြနိုင်ပါတယ်။

Outlining Sentence ဘယ်လိုရေးမလဲ?

Outlining Sentence ဆိုတာက IELTS Academic Essay တစ်ပုဒ်မှာ သင့်ရဲ့အဓိကအချက်တွေကို ကြိုတင်ဖော်ပြတဲ့ ဝါကျဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒီဝါကျက Body Paragraph တွေမှာ ဆွေးနွေးမယ့်အချက်တွေကို ဖော်ပြပေးပါတယ်။

ဥပမာ:
“This essay will discuss the benefits of remote work, including increased flexibility and reduced commuting time, before addressing potential challenges such as isolation.”

ဒီလိုရေးခြင်းအားဖြင့် စာဖတ်သူက သင့်ရဲ့ Essay မှာ ဘာတွေဆက်ဖတ်ရမယ်ဆိုတာ ကြိုသိသွားမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Thesis Statement vs. Outlining Sentence

Thesis Statement နဲ့ Outlining Sentence က တစ်ခုနဲ့တစ်ခု ဆက်စပ်နေပေမယ့် ကွာခြားချက်ရှိပါတယ်။

• Thesis Statement – သင့်ရဲ့အမြင်ကို ဖော်ပြတယ်။
• Outlining Sentence – သင့်ရဲ့ဆွေးနွေးချက်တွေကို အကျဉ်းချုပ်ဖော်ပြတယ်။

တစ်ခါတလေ Thesis Statement နဲ့ Outlining Sentence ကို တွဲပြီးရေးလေ့ရှိပါတယ်။

IELTS Essay အတွက် Effective Thesis Statement ရေးနည်း

1. Clear Position ဖော်ပြပါ – Agree လား Disagree လား၊ ဒါမှမဟုတ် Balanced View လားဆိုတာ ရှင်းရှင်းလင်းလင်းဖော်ပြပါ။
2. Specific ဖြစ်ပါစေ – General Statement တွေရှောင်ပြီး တိကျတဲ့အချက်တွေကိုပဲ ဖော်ပြပါ။
3. Simple and Concise – ရှုပ်ထွေးတဲ့ဝါကျတွေမသုံးဘဲ ရိုးရှင်းစွာရေးပါ။

ဥပမာ (Agree/Disagree Question):
“Although some people believe that fast food should be banned, I strongly disagree because it provides affordable meals and creates jobs.”

ဥပမာ (Discussion Question):
“While technology has improved communication, it has also reduced face-to-face interactions, leading to social isolation.”

Outlining Sentence ကောင်းတစ်ခုရဲ့ အချက်များ

1. Main Points ပါဝင်ပါ – Body Paragraph တွေမှာဆွေးနွေးမယ့်အချက်တွေကို ဖော်ပြပါ။
2. Logical Flow ရှိပါစေ – အချက်တွေကို အစီအစဉ်တကျဖော်ပြပါ။
3. Transition Words သုံးပါ – Firstly, Secondly, Finally စတဲ့စကားလုံးတွေနဲ့ ဖတ်ရလွယ်အောင်ရေးပါ။

ဥပမာ:
“This essay will first examine the environmental impacts of plastic waste, then discuss possible solutions such as recycling and biodegradable alternatives.”
