Interviewer: Excellent. Do you have any questions for me?

1. "What are your salary expectations?"
Based on July 2025 data, the average hourly wage for a Machine Operator in New Zealand can range from approximately **NZ$28 to NZ$34**. With your experience, aiming for the higher end is reasonable.
Good Answer (Giving a range):
"Based on my research for this type of role in New Zealand and my 20 years of direct experience, I would be looking for something in the range of **$29 to $33 per hour**."
