📝 What Is a Paragraph?

A good paragraph is usually made up of three basic parts:

3️⃣ Closing Sentence
The closing sentence brings the paragraph to an end. It may summarize the main idea or give a final thought. It should not add a completely new idea.

🔗 Coherence and Cohesion in a Paragraph
A paragraph must be both coherent and cohesive.
- Coherence means the ideas are organized clearly and make sense together. (The reader can follow the logic easily.)
- Cohesion means the sentences are connected using linking words or phrases. (Like first, also, because, so, finally, etc.)
Together, coherence and cohesion help the paragraph flow smoothly and make reading easier.
